What is PRF?

What Is PRF Treatment?

 Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF)

PRF is the next generation of PRP. It uses your blood to form a layer under the skin to hold the platelets for a much longer time than PRP. This results in more sustained growth factor release than using standard PRP, which can lead to a more noticeable and marked regeneration and rejuvenation.

How does it work?

PRF  uses the bloods own clotting mechanism to form a fibrin matrix under the skin. This Fibrin layer holds the palettes for up to 5 days before its absorbed into the body. During this time the palettes are working to regenerate the tissues around it.

How long does it take to work?

Every customer is unique, but changes are expected within 6 months, but it will take up to 12-18 months to get the full benefit of treatment as the regeneration process takes time to happen.

What is it used for?

PRF is thought of as the next generations of PRP as it is 100% natural and studies demonstrate it can out perform standard PRP. Its can be used for skin and hair regeneration as well as joint repair and bone repair in dentistry. However it it is not as pure as advanced PRP so many not be recommended for post hair transplant procedures.
